⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
This title serves as a solid introduction to Marion’s supernatural lore for casual readers seeking entertainment rather than rigorous academic proof. Simpkins successfully maps out the city’s eerie geography, making it useful for those planning paranormal tourism or interested in regional folklore. However, it is not suited for skeptics demanding empirical evidence, nor will it satisfy serious occult scholars looking for deep metaphysical analysis or historical critique. The narrative remains surface-level, focusing on anecdotal reports of ghouls and spirits rather than complex spiritualism theory. It is best consumed as a light, spooky companion to local history rather than a definitive text on the afterlife.
