⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
Bedell provides a comprehensive, accessible entry point into earth-based spellcraft, making complex folk traditions approachable for beginners. The emphasis on utilizing ordinary soil lowers the barrier to entry for magical work. However, this book does not suit seasoned practitioners seeking highly theoretical grimoires or those who prefer abstract, non-materialist approaches to spirituality. It is specifically tailored for hands-on workers interested in Conjure and ancestral witchcraft. Readers looking for rigid dogmatic structures or purely academic historical analysis may find the practical, eclectic nature of the spells lacking depth. It is best viewed as a functional toolkit rather than a scholarly text.
