Took a chance on this and glad I did. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. Recommended if you're ready to do the work.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Good, with the caveats above.
Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. You can tell why this work has endured. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Still worth having on the shelf.
A friend in my study group recommended this one. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. Shipping was quick too.
