About the author
Laura Andrikopoulos is the author of Jung and Twentieth Century Psychological Astrology: Perspectives on Magic, Psychology and Culture, published by Routledge. The book traces the development of psychological astrology across the twentieth century through the work and theories of Carl Gustav Jung together with astrologers Alan Leo, Dane Rudhyar, and Liz Greene, using their intersection to build a cultural history of how ideas about magic persisted within modern culture via astrological practice. It is an academic study rather than a how-to guide, aimed at readers interested in the history of psychology, the sociology of esotericism, or the twentieth-century reception of Jungian thought, and at astrologers wanting a scholarly account of the psychological branch of their field's development rather than technique or chart interpretation.
