About the author
"Anonymous" here groups several unattributed or historically disputed works spanning different traditions. They include the Pistis Sophia, an early Gnostic text on the soul's path to redemption; The Greater Key of Solomon, a fourteenth-century grimoire of invocations and conjurations attributed to no known author; The Black Pullet, an eighteenth-century French text on magical talismans; How to Develop Personal Magnetism and Healing Powers, a Book Tree reprint on cultivating personal magnetism; and Meditations on the Tarot: A Journey Into Christian Hermeticism, a twentieth-century work of Christian esoteric commentary published with an afterword by Cardinal Hans Urs von Balthasar. These titles share only their anonymous authorship, not a single voice or period, ranging from historical grimoires to modern reprints, making this entry a catalogue heading for unattributed esoteric texts rather than an author page.
