My book club chose this last month. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes.
Took a chance on this and glad I did. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Solid, if not essential.
Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
