A treasure
Took a chance on this and glad I did. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. One of my better finds this year.

Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Some archaic spellings slow things down.
