The Sacred Soul: Living the Art of Now

My third book from this store and this one might be the best. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. Already eyeing my next order.

Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use.

Grabbed this during a weekend order. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. It's become a regular reference in my practice. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.

Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading.

This has been on my wishlist for months. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Some archaic spellings slow things down.

I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Would buy from this store again.

This exceeded my expectations. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. Solid, if not essential.

Placed squarely on our occult philosophy shelf, Lauri Cloud's "The Sacred Soul: Living the Art of Now" offers an uplifting exploration of present moment awareness and inner wisdom. The publisher's own description is sparse on specific esoteric frameworks or systemic doctrines, focusing instead on broad transformative insights and practical spiritual growth. As an editorial assessment, this volume is best suited for beginners and contemporary practitioners who appreciate accessible, mind-body-spirit encouragement. It will not suit seasoned ceremonial magicians, traditional alchemists, or academic historians of the occult who seek dense historical analysis, rigid ritual mechanics, or explicit esoteric scholarship, as the text prioritizes personal consciousness over complex occult theory.
