Seekers of the Soul: Seven Psychics and Intuitives Talk about Their Work, and The Lives That Led Them To It

Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. You can tell why this work has endured. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Recommended with reservations.

As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions.

A friend in my study group recommended this one. Every rereading turns up something I missed. One of my better finds this year.

Finally got around to ordering this. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Great value for what you get.

I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. One of my better finds this year.

Long-time student of the esoteric here. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. Every rereading turns up something I missed. One of my better finds this year.

Finally got around to ordering this. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Happy enough with the purchase.

Ward offers a sincere exploration of psychic work, grounding it in her own medical uncertainty to establish credibility. The profiles of the seven practitioners provide varied insights into intuitive methodologies, appealing to those who view these skills as professional disciplines rather than mere parlor tricks. However, readers seeking rigorous scientific proof or statistical data will likely find this volume lacking in empirical evidence. It is not suited for strict materialists or those who prefer detached, academic analyses of consciousness. Instead, it serves best as a narrative-driven introduction to the field, focusing on the human element and personal integrity of psychics rather than objective verification.
