Protection Spells: Clear Negative Energy, Banish Unhealthy Influences, and Embrace Your Power

Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. A text you study rather than simply read. Glad I finally picked this up.

Exactly what I was looking for. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point.

I keep coming back to this one. You can tell why this work has endured. Glad I finally picked this up.

Was skeptical at first. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. It assumes more background than a beginner might have.

Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. A text you study rather than simply read. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Recommended with reservations.

Added this to my reference shelf. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Happy enough with the purchase.

Murphy-Hiscock provides a pragmatic approach to shielding that appeals to those tired of vague spirituality. The focus on specific modern irritants makes it highly relevant for contemporary practitioners. However, it does not suit readers seeking deep historical theory or complex ceremonial magic. Those looking for abstract philosophical discourse may find the direct, actionable nature too simplistic. It is best for beginners or intermediate witches who want immediate results rather than academic study. The tone is supportive but demands active participation in ritual practice to achieve the promised energetic defense and boundary setting.
