My third book from this store and this one might be the best. Every rereading turns up something I missed. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. One of my better finds this year.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. Highly recommend to serious students.
My book club chose this last month. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. One of my better finds this year.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Recommended if you're ready to do the work.
On our occult philosophy shelf, Margolin's work offers an accessible, introspective exploration of physical intuition and inner truth. However, the edition's own description is notably sparse regarding specific chapter breakdowns, historical traditions, or biographical context. Consequently, this volume serves strictly as an introductory philosophical reflection rather than a granular study. It is not suitable for readers seeking clinical medical manuals, detailed historical overviews of esoteric movements, or structured, step-by-step physical therapies. Those looking for systematic instructional guides or rigorous academic histories will find its broad approach lacking, but as a reflective entry on bodily intelligence, it holds its own niche.
