Added this to my reference shelf. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Solid, if not essential.
A friend in my study group recommended this one. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. The font runs small in the appendices. Good, with the caveats above.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. Glad I finally picked this up.
