Long-time student of the esoteric here. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Recommended with reservations.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. Would buy from this store again.
Added this to my reference shelf. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Recommended with reservations.

As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Still worth having on the shelf.
