Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. Still worth having on the shelf.
This edition finally does the material justice. A text you study rather than simply read. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Recommended with reservations.
Took a chance on this and glad I did. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious.
I keep coming back to this one. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Glad I finally picked this up.
