About the author
Travis McHenry is an author and artist known for creating illustrated tarot and oracle card decks published by Rockpool Publishing. His work includes the Occult Tarot, a 78-card deck drawing on daemons, symbols and sigils from historical magical grimoires, and the Angel Tarot, built around the 72 angels of the Kabbalah, or Shem HaMephorash, both later reissued in pocket-sized editions. Oracle of Heaven and Hell: Harness the Power of the Angels and Demons (2024) pairs angelic and demonic imagery across 72 cards drawing on goetic tradition. The Egyptian Star Oracle (2023) is built entirely from authentic Egyptian artwork, spells, names and translations rather than a generalized Egyptian theme. McHenry's decks are designed for readers and practitioners of tarot and oracle divination seeking a strong visual and historical grounding in ceremonial magic, Kabbalah and Egyptian sources.
