About the author
Steven Sora is the author of a series of books published by Destiny Books that reinterpret episodes of Western history through the lens of secret societies and their hidden influence. Rosicrucian America traces the role of Rosicrucian thought in the founding and settlement of the United States, while The Lost Treasure of the Knights Templar and The Lost Colony of the Templars argue for a Templar presence in the New World before Columbus, tying the Oak Island money pit and Verrazano's voyages into a single narrative. Secret Societies of America's Elite extends this approach to modern American institutions, from the Masons to Skull and Bones, and The Triumph of the Sea Gods reads Homer's epics as a record of a Bronze Age conflict relocated to Iberia. Across five titles spanning 1999 to 2019, Sora's work sits in the alternative-history tradition, aimed at readers drawn to revisionist accounts of Western civilization's hidden roots.
