About the author
Eric J. Guignard is an American editor and writer known for his work in horror anthology publishing, most visibly as editor of the long-running Horror Library series from Dark Moon Books, represented here by volumes 7, 8, and 9. These anthologies collect contemporary horror short fiction from a range of authors, gathered under recurring calls for dark and imaginative work. Guignard has also edited more specialized projects, including Professor Charlatan Bardot's Travel Anthology to the Most (Fictional) Haunted Buildings in the Weird, Wild World, a themed collection built around an invented paranormal investigator, and The Collected Works of S. Mukerji, which reprints and contextualizes the rare early-twentieth-century ghost stories of a little-known Indian colonial-era author. Across these projects Guignard functions primarily as a curator and editor of horror fiction rather than as a solo novelist, assembling voices from within the contemporary horror short-story field.
