About the author
Mogg Morgan is a British writer on ceremonial magic and Egyptian religion, and the founder of the Oxford-based publisher Mandrake, which has issued most of his books. Aleister Crowley & Thelemic Magick (revised 2022) examines Crowley's continuing influence on modern magical practice. Tankhem: Seth & Egyptian Magick (revised 2005) and its sequel The Bull of Ombos: Seth & Egyptian Magick Vol II look at the worship and later demonization of the Egyptian deity Seth, using archaeological findings, including William Matthew Flinders Petrie's excavations at Naqada, alongside magical interpretation. Supernatural Assault in Ancient Egypt: Seth, Evil Sleep & the Egyptian Vampire extends that research into reported experiences of night paralysis and nocturnal assault as understood in ancient Egyptian belief.
