About the author
Kirsten Riddle is the author of The Beginner's Guide to Numerology and Trickster Magic, both published by CICO Books. The Beginner's Guide to Numerology, published in 2025, introduces the basic system of number meanings and shows readers how to calculate and interpret figures such as life-path and personal numbers. Trickster Magic, from 2015, looks at trickster figures across folklore and mythology - animal spirits, deities, and human tricksters alike - and pairs them with what Riddle calls trickster medicine, a set of practices linked to each character's traits. Both books are written for a general readership new to their respective subjects, favoring short, practical sections over lengthy background reading. Together they place Riddle within the illustrated, accessible end of contemporary numerology and folklore-based practice publishing, rather than the historical or academic side of either field.
