About the author
Jemma Foster writes on esoteric and plant-based traditions, working across alchemy, astrology, and sacred geometry. Sacred Geometry (Aster, 2020), part of the Conscious Guides series, introduces geometric patterns found in nature and their symbolic use across spiritual traditions. Wild Alchemy (Laurence King) pairs plant lore with alchemical practice, framing herbalism and foraging as a way of reconnecting with ancestral knowledge of the natural world, and is accompanied by a companion title, Wild Alchemy Lab, a 52-card deck of illustrated plant remedies linking astrology and botany. Across these books, Foster works at the intersection of natural history, folklore, and esoteric practice, presenting plants and geometric pattern as material for reflection and ritual rather than as subjects of scientific botany. The books suit readers already drawn to astrology, herbalism, and alchemical symbolism rather than newcomers to those fields.
