About the author
Frater Barrabbas is the pen name of a contemporary ritual magician and witch whose three catalogued books, all published by Llewellyn, adapt ceremonial magic techniques for modern Wiccan and witchcraft practice. Spirit Conjuring for Witches (2017) covers the evocation of spirits and the cultivation of a familiar spirit, drawing on practices historically associated with ceremonial magicians. Elemental Powers for Witches (2022) sets out an elemental energy system built around what the author calls forty qualified powers and sixteen elementals. Talismanic Magic for Witches (2023) turns to planetary and zodiacal talismans as a way of encapsulating and charging a working wish. Across the series, Frater Barrabbas presents advanced, structured ritual technique intended for witches already familiar with basic practice who want to incorporate ceremonial-style methods, rather than introductory material for beginners.
