About the author
Edward F. Malkowski writes about alternative theories of ancient Egyptian history, arguing for a lost prehistoric civilization that predates the dynastic pharaohs. Ancient Egypt 39,000 BCE: The History, Technology, and Philosophy of Civilization X (Bear & Company, 2010) and Before the Pharaohs: Egypt's Mysterious Prehistory (Bear & Company, 2005) both present the case that a highly advanced culture existed in Egypt long before conventional chronology allows, drawing on geology, genetics, and engineering alongside myth and esoteric sources. The Spiritual Technology of Ancient Egypt: Sacred Science and the Mystery of Consciousness (Inner Traditions International) extends the inquiry into the relationship between ancient Egyptian cosmology and quantum theory, and the influence of Schwaller de Lubicz's 'sacred science' on his framework. Malkowski's books belong to the alternative-history and occult-philosophy shelves rather than academic Egyptology, aimed at readers drawn to speculative accounts of lost civilizations, ancient technology, and the idea that early religious and scientific thought share a common origin.
