About the author
Don Webb is a writer on ceremonial magic and the Left-Hand Path, and a former High Priest of the Temple of Set, an organization that grew out of the Church of Satan in the 1970s. His books here span both instruction and commentary: How to Become a Modern Magus, published by Destiny Books in 2023, lays out a year-long program of rituals and exercises including Egyptian-derived Soul Craft practice, while Overthrowing the Old Gods offers a line-by-line commentary on Aleister Crowley's Book of the Law read against psychology, Egyptology, and Left-Hand Path thought. Uncle Setnakt's Essential Guide to the Left Hand Path and Mysteries of the Temple of Set draw more directly on his years inside that organization's teachings. Webb writes for readers already oriented toward ceremonial and Setian magic rather than newcomers to occultism in general.
