Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. Shipping was quick too.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Still worth having on the shelf.
Finally got around to ordering this. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
