About the author
Tracy Marks is an American astrologer and psychotherapist whose books combine astrological technique with depth psychology, aimed at readers seeking self-understanding through the birth chart. Your Secret Self: Illuminating the Mysteries of the Twelfth House (Ibis Press) focuses on the twelfth house as the locus of both hidden weaknesses and hidden creative and spiritual potential. The Astrology of Self-Discovery (Nicolas-Hays) draws on astrology, psychology and spiritual teaching to guide readers through personal development informed by planetary influences. The Art of Chart Interpretation offers a step-by-step method for synthesizing birth chart data into a coherent personality reading, while Planetary Aspects, first published in 1987 and reissued by Ibis Press, addresses the demanding T-square configuration. Marks has long worked at the intersection of astrological counseling and psychotherapy, and her books are pitched to practicing and serious student astrologers rather than casual readers.
