About the author
Sue Tompkins is a British astrologer associated with the Faculty of Astrological Studies in London, where her work has long served as core teaching material. Aspects in Astrology: A Guide to Understanding Planetary Relationships in the Horoscope sets out her approach to interpreting the aspects between planets in a birth chart, using real horoscopes and diagrams to illustrate each combination, and has become a standard reference used in astrological training. The Contemporary Astrologer's Handbook builds on that earlier book with a fuller guide to horoscope interpretation, drawing on several decades of teaching experience to work through the planets, signs, and houses in combination. Both books are written for students of astrology already familiar with chart basics rather than as introductions to the subject, and are used widely wherever horoscopic astrology is taught.
