About the author
Saffi Crawford is an astrologer whose books combine astrology, numerology, and other divinatory systems for a general readership. The Power of Birthdays, Stars & Numbers: The Complete Personology Reference Guide, published by Ballantine Books, works through astrology, numerology, and fixed stars to build birthday-by-birthday personality profiles, framed as psychological and self-awareness guidance. The Power of Playing Cards, from Atria Books, traces the historical connection between the modern deck of playing cards and older mystical card systems related to tarot, offering readings based on the card linked to a reader's birthday. Both books present divination as a tool for self-understanding rather than prediction of external events, and are aimed at readers new to birthday-based astrology and cartomancy who want an accessible reference rather than a technical or academic treatment.
