About the author
Ryan Dunn is a Savannah-based paranormal investigator and tour guide whose books, published by Schiffer Publishing, document ghost investigations in historic Southern cities. His Savannah's Afterlife series, now in a third installment, works alongside the Savannah Ghost Research Society to record cases from one of the country's most storied haunted cities, while St. Augustine's Afterlife (2024) extends the same investigative approach to Florida's oldest city, drawing on roughly a decade of fieldwork. Dunn presents these as true tales built from firsthand investigation rather than fiction, mixing historical background on specific sites with accounts of the team's methods and findings. The books are aimed at readers interested in ghost tourism and case-based paranormal investigation, particularly those already familiar with Savannah and St. Augustine's reputations as haunted destinations, rather than readers seeking broader occult theory or history.
