About the author
Ruby Daniels is the author of two 2024 titles from A&D Xtreme, Science of Ghosts and Science of Psychic Powers, both part of an educational nonfiction series aligned to Common Core standards. Science of Ghosts traces the history of ghost belief from ancient times to the present, covering spiritualism, the reasons people believe, and technology used to investigate reported sightings. Science of Psychic Powers follows the same structure applied to psychic ability, covering historical belief, investigations into psychic performers, and possible scientific explanations. Both books are written for a school and library audience, presenting paranormal topics through a historical and investigative lens rather than as instructional or devotional material, and are designed to fit curriculum standards rather than a general trade readership.
