About the author
Rosemary Altea is a British spiritual medium and author best known for Proud Spirit and The Eagle and the Rose, and for the bestseller You Own the Power. Her book Proud Spirit: Lessons, Insights and Healing from 'The Voice of the Spirit World', published by William Morrow in 1998, draws on her own life and her work as a medium to address questions of what happens after death. Soul Signs: An Elemental Guide to Your Spiritual Destiny, issued by Rodale and separately by Rider, presents a system of soul typing built around elemental groupings rather than conventional zodiac signs. The Realm Beyond continues her focus on communication with the deceased through personal accounts. Altea gained wide recognition through television appearances and her New York Times bestselling books, and her work centers consistently on mediumship, the afterlife, and drawing on inner spiritual resources, addressed to general readers rather than specialists in esoteric systems.
