About the author
Robert Lee Camp is the author of Cards of Your Destiny and Love Cards, both published by Sourcebooks and built around a card-based divination system tied to a person's birthdate. Cards of Your Destiny, now in a third, expanded edition, uses a standard deck of playing cards mapped to birthdates to structure readings about a person's past, present, and future, while Love Cards applies the same birthdate-to-card system specifically to relationships and compatibility. The publisher's material describes Camp as known in Hollywood for consultations using this method. Both books present the system as a practical, do-it-yourself tool: readers are meant to locate their own cards and work through the associated interpretations themselves rather than simply read about the method. They are aimed at readers already interested in birthdate-based divination and card systems adjacent to astrology and tarot.
