About the author
Preston Dennett is a researcher and writer specializing in UFO history and paranormal investigation in the United States, with a series of state-by-state books published by Schiffer Publishing. Titles such as UFOs Over Arizona (2016), UFOs Over Nevada (2015), UFOs Over New Mexico (2012), and UFOs Over New York (2008) each catalogue reported sightings, landings, and encounters within a single state, organized by location and drawing on eyewitness accounts collected over decades. He has also written more broadly on regional paranormal activity, including Ghosts of Greater Los Angeles (2010) and Supernatural California (2006), extending his documentary approach to hauntings, cryptid sightings, and other unexplained phenomena. Across this body of work, Dennett functions as a compiler and chronicler of reported cases rather than a scientific investigator, presenting accounts largely as told by witnesses. His books serve readers with an established interest in UFO and paranormal history who want geographically organized references rather than a general introduction.
