About the author
Noreen Renier is an American psychic investigator known for her work assisting law-enforcement agencies on criminal cases, including a lecture she gave at the FBI Academy. Her book A Mind for Murder: The Real-Life Files of a Psychic Investigator recounts cases from more than four hundred investigations she says she worked on with police departments, tracing how she developed and applied her abilities within law enforcement settings. The Practical Psychic: A No-Nonsense Guide to Developing Your Natural Intuitive Abilities (2016) shifts from case narrative to instruction, aimed at readers who want to identify and develop their own intuitive capacities. Both books are shelved under occult philosophy and are written for readers interested in psychic phenomena as applied to real investigative work rather than in psychic practice as a purely personal or spiritual pursuit.
