About the author
Maurice Fernandez is an astrologer whose catalogue centers on evolutionary astrology, a school that reads the birth chart as a record of the soul's development across lifetimes. Astrology and the Evolution of Consciousness, Volume 1: Astrology Fundamentals (Evolutionary Astrology, 2009) lays out the basic framework of this approach for both newcomers and practicing astrologers, covering the core building blocks of chart interpretation. Neptune, the 12th House, and Pisces: The Timelessness of Truth, published in a second edition through River of Stars, narrows in on one area of the chart, working through the planet, the house, and the sign together and tracing Neptune's transits. Both books are written for readers already engaged with astrology as a practice rather than as an introduction from scratch, structured as study texts organized by planet, house, and sign rather than as continuous narrative. Together they represent a sustained, technical body of work on one branch of astrological interpretation.
