About the author
Matt Kahn is described in his publisher's copy as a spiritual teacher and empathic healer, and his books for St. Martin's Essentials and Sounds True center on love, compassion, and emotional acceptance as tools for personal transformation. All for Love: The Transformative Power of Holding Space (2022) and Whatever Arises, Love That: A Love Revolution That Begins with You (2016 and 2020 editions) build around the idea that unconditional acceptance of whatever feeling or situation arises is itself a path to healing and fulfillment. A related title, The Healing Mantra Deck, extends the same approach into a 52-card set of short mantras on themes such as worthiness and abundance. The books are written in an accessible, conversational register for readers already engaged with the self-help and New Age wellness market rather than for an academic or historical audience.
