About the author
Mat Auryn is an American witch, astrologer, and bestselling author published by Llewellyn, best known for Psychic Witch: A Metaphysical Guide to Meditation, Magick & Manifestation, which became a significant seller within contemporary witchcraft publishing and established his approach of combining psychic development with spellcraft. His subsequent books extend that framework: Mastering Magick: A Course in Spellcasting for the Psychic Witch is presented as a direct companion to Psychic Witch, adding more than sixty spells built around psychic ability, while The Psychic Art of Tarot applies the same emphasis on intuition to tarot reading, aimed at readers wanting to combine traditional card meanings with their own psychic impressions. Brujeria Psiquica is the Spanish-language edition of Psychic Witch, published by Obelisco. Across his work, Auryn writes for practicing witches and tarot readers rather than newcomers, treating psychic development as a skill trained alongside magical technique.
