About the author
Marguerite Mary Rigoglioso is the author of a small body of work on Mary, mother of Jesus, and traditions of virgin birth in the ancient world. Her books, including The Secret Life of Mother Mary: Divine Feminine Power for Personal Healing and Planetary Awakening (Bear & Company, 2024) and The Mystery Tradition of Miraculous Conception: Mary and the Lineage of Virgin Births (Bear & Company, 2021), present Mary as a priestess and spiritual teacher within a lineage of holy women trained in sacred conception practices, drawing on esoteric scholarship and goddess-centered readings of Christian and pre-Christian sources. A Spanish edition, La Vida Secreta de la Virgen María, appeared in 2026. The books combine historical and mythological material with devotional and healing themes aimed at readers interested in the divine feminine, alternative Marian traditions, and goddess spirituality, rather than newcomers to the subject.
