About the author
Maiya Gray-Cobb is the author of Time on Your Hands: A Study in Palmistry and The Numbers of Your Life: Numerology & Personal Discovery, both published by Redfeather. The palmistry book works from the premise that the lines of the hand can be read for information about a person's past, present, and future, and offers a structured introduction to interpreting them. The numerology title extends the same approach to the numbers derived from a birth date, presenting them as a way of mapping life path, challenges, and compatibility with others. Both books are written as practical, how-to guides rather than historical or academic studies, aimed at readers new to these divinatory systems who want a straightforward method to apply to their own lives or the lives of people close to them. They belong to the popular self-discovery strand of occult publishing, where traditional divination techniques are presented as accessible personal tools.
