About the author
Lady Haight-Ashton is the author of a series of Pagan Portals titles from Moon Books focused on women's roles in myth and religious history, including Pagan Portals - The Fallen Women of Mythology: Goddesses, Saints and Sinners. That book looks at figures across mythology, hagiography, and folklore who were cast as morally fallen, from goddesses to saints to figures remembered as sinners, and argues for reconsidering the women written out of conventional historical narratives. Pagan Portals - The Temple Priestesses of Antiquity covers the oracles, sibyls, seers, and sacred dancers of ancient civilizations who served as intermediaries to the divine, while Pagan Portals - The First Sisters: Lilith and Eve retells the story of Lilith as Eden's first woman before Eve, and her disappearance from mainstream religious history. Across the three short books, Lady Haight-Ashton writes on women's spiritual and mythological roles for readers interested in goddess traditions and feminist readings of ancient religion.
