About the author
Kristoffer Hughes is a Welsh Druid, writer, and head of the Anglesey Druid Order, known for combining scholarship on Celtic myth with practical devotional and ritual guidance. His books for Llewellyn Publications and Moon Books work through major figures of Welsh mythology in turn, including Cerridwen: Celtic Goddess of Inspiration and Pagan Portals - Arianrhod: Celtic Goddess of Fate, Fortune and Destiny, tracing each figure's roots in the Mabinogion and later folklore while offering exercises for readers who want to build a devotional relationship with them. In The Book of Druidry, he sets out the history and modern practice of Druidry, including its ethics and environmental concerns, and The Book of Celtic Magic covers the wider magical current he associates with the cauldron of Awen. As the Last Leaf Falls turns to a different subject, offering a Pagan perspective on death, dying, and bereavement through ritual and meditation. His writing is consistently rooted in Welsh language, myth, and landscape.
