About the author
Kasey Lealma is the author of The Zodian Warrior and its sequel The Scarlet Cross, both published by Moon Witch Books in 2023 and 2024. The series follows Ember, a young woman balancing a secret double life as a vampire hunter with a hidden relationship with an immortal demon boyfriend, all while trying to keep the truth from her father and win his acceptance. This is paranormal romance and urban fantasy aimed at young adult and new adult readers who enjoy supernatural action blended with family drama and romantic tension, rather than nonfiction treatment of occult subject matter, despite the catalogue's occult-philosophy classification. The two-book arc builds a continuing storyline around Ember's identity as the Zodian Warrior, with each installment advancing both her supernatural conflicts and her strained relationship with her father. No further biographical information about Lealma accompanies the listings.
