About the author
Judith Bluestone Polich is the author of Return of the Children of Light: Incan and Mayan Prophecies for a New World, published by Bear & Company in 2001 and later issued in a Spanish-language edition, El Regreso de los Niños de la Luz, through Inner Traditions International. The book examines Incan and Mayan prophetic traditions and connects them to New Age ideas about an approaching shift in human consciousness, drawing on the author's personal exploration of Mesoamerican prophecy alongside contemporary spiritual movements. It was recognized by the Independent Publisher's Book Awards as one of the year's notable New Age titles. The book is aimed at readers interested in indigenous prophecy and New Age thought rather than at scholars of Mesoamerican history or archaeology, and it represents Polich's single major contribution to this catalogue.
