About the author
Jude Currivan is a British author who writes about consciousness, planetary evolution, and the integration of scientific and spiritual perspectives on the universe. Her book The Story of Gaia: The Big Breath and the Evolutionary Journey of Our Conscious Planet, published by Inner Traditions in 2022 and winner of a 2023 Nautilus Gold Award, argues for viewing the Earth and universe as an interconnected, purposeful, self-aware system. Her earlier book The 8th Chakra: What It Is and How It Can Transform Your Life, published by Hay House, extends the standard seven-chakra model with an additional energy center she presents as a key to expanded self-understanding. Currivan's writing combines references to physics and cosmology with explicitly spiritual and metaphysical claims, aimed at readers already drawn to consciousness studies and energy-based spirituality rather than at scientists or philosophers working in those fields professionally.
