About the author
Joy Woodward is described in her publisher's material as a numerology expert. Her books on this site, Your Destiny Is in Your Numbers: Numerology to Awaken, Transform, and Inspire Your Life, published by HarperOne, and A Beginner's Guide to Numerology: Decode Relationships, Maximize Opportunities, and Discover Your Destiny, published by Callisto, both present numerology as a system for interpreting names, birth dates, and recurring numerical patterns as guides to personality and life direction. The books are pitched at readers new to the subject, walking through the basics of how numbers are calculated and interpreted rather than assuming prior familiarity. They sit within the popular numerology and divination shelf alongside astrology and tarot guides, aimed at readers looking for an introductory, practical approach rather than a historical or comparative study of the practice.
