About the author
John Townley is a singular figure bridging the worlds of sonic artistry, celestial wisdom, and the deep currents of history. Born in 1945, he first emerged from the vibrant folk-rock scene of the 1960s, co-founding the influential group The Magicians and later establishing the hallowed Apostolic Recording Studio in New York City. However, Townley's true passion lies in the esoteric. He is a dedicated astrologer, a path he has explored with profound depth, authoring eight illuminating books that delve into the intricate language of the cosmos. His work often explores the archetypal patterns and hidden correspondences that govern both the individual soul and the vast sweep of human events, drawing connections between ancient astrological traditions and contemporary understanding. Beyond his astrological pursuits, Townley also commands a deep knowledge of maritime history, a subject he translates into evocative musical performances and recordings, perhaps hinting at the vast, uncharted territories of the subconscious and the symbolic journeys of the soul.
