About the author
Jhenah Telyndru is the founder of the Avalonian Tradition and has written extensively on Welsh mythology and Goddess spirituality for Llewellyn Publications and Moon Books between 2010 and 2025. Her books, including Avalon Within, The Mythic Moons of Avalon, The Ninefold Way of Avalon, and the Pagan Portals volumes on Rhiannon and Blodeuwedd, work through figures from Welsh legend such as Rhiannon and Blodeuwedd, examining their mythological layers and their use in modern Pagan and Goddess-centered practice. Telyndru's approach combines mythographic analysis, tracing a figure's origins and symbols through source material, with practical frameworks for readers pursuing a spiritual path connected to Avalon. Her most recent title, a 2025 Moon Books Duets hardcover, collects two of her earlier Pagan Portals books in one edition. The catalogue is aimed at readers already engaged with Celtic-inspired Pagan practice who want a scholarly grounding in the myths they draw on.
