About the author
Jeff Dwyer is a paranormal investigator and author of the Ghost Hunter's Guide series published by Pelican Publishing Company, covering specific American cities and regions. His titles in this catalogue include Ghost Hunter's Guide to New Orleans (revised edition, 2017), Ghost Hunter's Guide to Portland and Oregon Coast (2015), and Ghost Hunter's Guide to Seattle and Puget Sound (2008). Each book combines local history with directions to specific reportedly haunted sites, written for residents, new arrivals, and travelers who want to visit the locations described rather than read a general history of hauntings. Dwyer's guides are structured location by location, pairing historical background on each site with practical information for visitors, situating his work within the local ghost-tour guidebook genre rather than investigative or academic writing.
