About the author
Ivo Dominguez Jr. is an American Wiccan elder and astrologer, a founding member of the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel tradition and a long-established teacher in contemporary Pagan practice. His books for Weiser Books address the technical and experiential sides of magical training rather than the sign-by-sign format of his Llewellyn titles. "Practical Astrology for Witches and Pagans" (2016) treats astrology as a working system for timing spellwork and ritual, moving past its common use for divination or personality analysis. "Keys to Perception: A Practical Guide to Psychic Development" (2017) sets out methods for developing psychic perception meant to be practiced safely within an existing magical or spiritual framework. "The Four Elements of the Wise" examines earth, air, water and fire as the structural pillars of ritual work, covering their lore, correspondences and use in spellcraft, forming a more instructional counterpart to his sign-focused writing.
