About the author
Faith Serafin writes regional ghost-lore books for the History Press, focused on the American South. Her titles include Haunted Montgomery, Alabama (2013), which covers reputed hauntings tied to the city's history as the first capital of the Confederacy, including sites connected to Hank Williams and Zelda Fitzgerald, and Haunted Columbus, Georgia: Phantoms of the Fountain City (2012), covering local ghost stories along the Chattahoochee River. Both books follow the History Press's established format for local haunted-history titles: short chapters organized around specific buildings, cemeteries, or unsolved cases, mixing local history with collected ghost stories and interviews. Serafin is described in her publisher's material as a ghost hunter as well as an author, and her books are aimed at readers interested in local history and reputed paranormal activity in Alabama and Georgia rather than at a broader audience for supernatural fiction or academic folklore study.
