About the author
Ellias Lonsdale is an American astrologer associated with the evolutionary astrology tradition, known for treating planets, degrees and zodiac signs as sources of psychological and spiritual meaning rather than as predictive tools alone. His books for North Atlantic Books, including Inside Star Vision: Planetary Awakening and Self-Transforming and Inside Planets, develop detailed, degree-by-degree and planet-by-planet readings meant to help readers interpret their own birth charts in depth. Inside Degree: Developing Your Soul Biography Using the Chandra Symbols extends that method to the 360 individual degrees of the zodiac, while 360 Degrees of Your Star Destiny: A Zodiac Oracle (Destiny Books, 2021) reworks the same degree material into an oracle format. The Book of Theanna is different in kind, presenting letters Lonsdale wrote after the death of his wife, Sara Lonsdale, which he describes as ongoing communications with her. His readership sits within the practicing astrology community rather than mainstream astrology media.
